B.Tech (Silk Technology) in VTU


B.Tech (Silk Technology) is one of the demanded courses offered at Visvesvaraya Technological University. Fabric Manufacture, Textile Fibre Physics, Knitting Technology, Silk Reeling Technology, Clothing Culture and Communication, etc are some of the topics included under the course curriculum. Admission Process for B.Tech (Silk Technology) in VTU
Those having completed HSC course or its equivalent from a recognized board are eligible. They should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Such candidates should have studied any of the following as optional subjects.

Lateral entry admission to second year of engineering is possible. Eligible candidate must be a diploma holder from any of the recognized institute. Admission of suitable candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in IIT (Main) or Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
